The available cab address range is based on The DCC System Command Station that is running the layout.
DCC Twin: 0 and 1 used by the twin / 2- 7 for cabs / 8, 9, 10 cab bus for devices only (AIU, mini panel, USB)
All locomotives programmed on Throttle A will be set to address 3.
All locomotives programmed on Throttle B will be set to address 4.
Power Cab: address 2 is used by the Power Cab itself. When in Power Cab mode the address is forced to 2
3, 4, 5 for throttles or cab bus devices (6,7 reserved) 8,9, 10 cab bus for devices only (AIU, mini panel, USB)
SB5: 2- 7 throttles or cab bus devices / 8, 9, 10 cab bus for devices only (AIU, mini panel, USB)
PH-Pro Power Pro / Powerhouse / CS02: 2 - 63 for all throttles (62 wired cabs total)

Additional considerations for wireless cabs.
16 WIRELESS Pro Cabs - They must use cab addresses 2-17. This is due to the extended display requirements of the Pro Cab.
All other wireless cab can use any number between 2 – 49. However, it is a good idea to use the upper numbers of (18 - 49) for the smaller engineer cabs (Cab04/Cab05/Cab06) to keep lower numbers (2-17) open for wireless Pro Cabs.
