Are you using the “select loco” button then enter each time or using the “recall” button?
If you select the loco manually each time by entering the number and pressing enter, you are starting over from square one at speed zero.
If you want the locos to run continuously you need to use the recall button to switch back and forth. This will "remember" the loco as compared to starting over each time.
