The connection between the two boosters is the smaller 4- wire RJ9 control bus data cable. This is not a cab bus cable.
The cabs get connected to the RJ12 cab bus jack on the first booster only.
Each booster track output can run 10 HO locos simultaneously.
You will also need to add a floating bond wire between all the boosters. Use any screw on the backplate.
