MAC Support

Silicon Labs Linux driver:

https://www.silabs.com/software-and-tools/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers?tab=downloads

We do not have Mac support, but here are some things to check:

  1. All the jumpers should be OFF the board.
  2. In your security settings and permissions, you will need to allow the hardware, the hardware driver explicitly, and JMRI. It is my understanding that the MAC OS blocks the hardware and the driver by default until you manually allow it.
  3. You will need to check and correct the JMRI config setting in two places inside JMRI:
  4. The COM port settings on the PC side must match what is listed in JMRI NCE hardware system connection settings, and you will need to correct the default NCE system preferences. They should all be set to NCE, not internal.
